In “Oil harms otters 10 years on,” A. Kirby, writes “Sea otters have experienced significant long-term negative effects from the spill”(2000 para.4). Sea otters have been suffering from the pollution of the ocean since the Exxon Valdez oil spilled in Alaska. The population has not recovered completely. What is worse, researchers found that the population decreased to about half of the number that existed before the event (Kingston, 2002). Furthermore, the population of the sea otters had already decreased because people hunted them to get fur in the 18th and 19th centuries (Roach, 2006). Finally, infections from cats and parasites like Toxoplasma gondii make their immune system get worse, create brain disease, and increase the death of the sea otters(Rincon, 2006).

Human can mention three big dangers and solutions to protect them. First of all, an oil tanker spill caused them away to the ocean and it caused pollution of oceans. Second, many hunters get to make products with their fur. Third, parasites by cats caused the infection in sea otters. It broke down their immune system of them. There are many proposals to improve their population and habits by our efforts. First one is that we should clean the oceans by taking garbage away from them. Second one is that experts should do research and get much data about sea otters. Finally, we should change our daily life as much as we can by decreasing domestic discharge into the sea from each family.

When it comes to the population of sea otters, as it is described in the article, “By 1993 Alaska’s otters population was down by half"(Lienhard,H. 1988-1999). However, in the article “California Sea Otters: Population Recovery Continues at Slower Rate” writes, “USGS scientists say the latest 3-year average (2,826 sea otters) was 0.3 percent higher than last year’s 3-year average, representing a slower rate of increase than they have seen in recent averages.” (Tinker, Hatfield, Maender. 2008). In this way, we can see that their population are increasing at slower rate but they are still ranked as an endangered species.

First, humans should clean the oceans as much as possible, because pollution of oceans is the main reason that collapses their environment. Although it isn’t easy for us to remove oils from oceans completely, we have ways to clean oceans easily and without cost. One way is that we can gather many people to take them away as a volunteer from each city. Also, we can take garbage away from the oceans without spending a lot of money to collect it. Moreover, humans can regulate the law about pollution more strictly, because the companies that caused the tanker spills were not punished, in proportion to the number of the loss of animals. Before these incidents occur accidentally in the future, government should review the strategies to deal with accidents and ways of rescuing them. Besides this, if we regulate the law that we should use when the accidents occur, it is better for us to cope with the solution about the accident quickly.

Second, experts should research the state of sea otters and the environment around them. According to researchers, “the chronic effects of the Exxon Valdez spill and similar environmental accidents have been difficult to prove, because of a lack of reliable data on the density and distribution of animal populations before the accidents”. (Kirby, 2000 para.6). If they have much data, they can find strategies to protect them. Moreover, they have to investigate the second cause of the death of sea otters, infection, and what to do to prevent it. In “Cat parasite ‘is killing otters’ the author writes, “The most likely source of infection for sea otters is the parasite’s tough egg-like stage, which is passed in the faeces of cats”(Rincon, 2006, para.4). As this it is entioned in this article, what we can do to prevent them from infecting to sea otters easily is that we should clean our cats and keep the cats indoors. Whatever the causes are, they need to get much information to avoid the loss of otter’s population and recover them.

Third, humans should change our lives for them as much as possible. The causes of loss of their population come from human activity such as garbage or discharge from each house. We should regulate the amount of domestic discharge to less and less. Moreover, we have to pay attention to how big this problem is and have a chance to learn and catch information through schools and experts. Besides these, humans should think of it as a serious problem and as a symptom of danger of the earth. Realizing and carrying out solutions are related to protection that is not for sea otters but also for the future of human and earth.

It seems difficult for everyone all over the world to pay attention to them and recover their population completely, because some of them want to get benefit by themselves without caring about whether they pollute oceans and affect sea otters or not. Moreover, if the caution doesn’t came from human activity like the parasite from cats, we can’t avoid infecting completely as it is mentioned in this article, ”What appears to be happening is that cats deposit their faeces – with the parasite – on land. When rainfall comes, it washes that into waterways and fresh water takes it into the ocean” (Rincon, P.2006). In this way, if the cause of decreasing are related to the natural process, we can’t predict what will occur in the future. However, if a few people can pay attention to them and try to consider what they can do at least like decreasing domestic discharge or banning throwing garbage away to the oceans completely not to pollute them, their environment can improve more than now. What we can say is that we can’t think that it is impossible for humans to solve the problem.

In conclusion, it is a big problem for us to solve, but humans have some solutions. First, we should clean up the ocean easily and cheaply by collecting the garbage. Second, experts can help sea otters by investigating and getting more information about the condition of sea otters by experts. Third, we can avoid discharging garbage and domestic washes into the sea. Besides these, we can have opportunities to exchange the information through schools or lectures. Humans also have to think about this problem seriously because most of the danger comes from human activity. Moreover, this problem is related to everything of the earth such as environment, species and humans. Although we can say that it is not easy for us to solve this problem completely and immediately, it is important to pay attention to sea otters to rescue them. Also, we all should have responsibility for our activities because we can hurt sea otters if we don't. Furthermore, we have to realize that this can be the warning that shows danger for humans.

Abstract topic of this paper is the problems and solutions of sea otters. It argues that human should learn what happens to sea otters and think of what they can to protect them. There are three reasons for this argument. The first is that human should clean up the oceans easily and economically by collecting the garbage. The second is that humans can get them better and get much more information by investigation. The third is that human should save the garbage and domestic discharge as much as possible.

Practice Final

Recently, many people have been using online banking as one of the most convenient ways to buy clothing or make reservation of hotels. In some cases, online banking seems safe, but in some case, it is sometimes suspicious. There is a good benefit for us to use it. According to Robertson,C. (2006 para.1), “The Internet is like a central shopping mall, where you can find just about everything you might need- from groceries and clothing to collectibles and hard-to-find replacement parts”. On the other hand, there are bad aspects to using it. According to Mulrean,J. (2008 para.5), “Consumers’ biggest fear about shopping online was the possibility of having their credit-card numbers stolen”. In this way, they have both good points and bad points about it.

However, compared to good points, there are more dangerous points in online banking. Although it is true that many people use online banking in recent years, we have to be concerned about using it. I can divide into three points about how we should care about online banking.

First, we must not believe all of the online sites, because it is risky to buy products there without getting much information about them. Moreover, these online marchants sometimes provide us different products between pictures and real ones. To avoid it, we have to catch rumors from others who have gotten them before. If we try to do this, we can judge more accurately.

Second, we have to check our accounts after we get products from online. According to Ball, G. (2008), it is possible for others to steal our data from records that we use from our accounts because we don’t make sure of it carefully. It is easy for criminals to steal data or deceive customers to get extra money. We should realize this ourselves and check our account balance more carefully to avoid it.

Third, the government should regulate the law of online banking. As Robertson ,C writes, in 2004 in the United States, many customers who got products on the Internet were deceived and paid more than they need. It is true that it affected not only customers but also credit companies. If they don’t stop criminals, such incidents can be escalating more and more. The companies should be approved by the government if they want to sell their products on the Internet. If they do it, we can think that it is more safe.

In conclusion, online merchants are sometimes dangerous for us to get products from because we don’t know about them directly. Also, we should care about what our accounts charged after online banking and must not discard the receipts easily to avoid having our personal information stolen by others. Finally, government should restrict the range of online banking more strictly. If they can carry this out , companies can get a great reputation and we can believe that it’s not risky.

My precious things

My precious things are words what my friends said to me before I came here. One friend told me what she likes me.Another friends wants me to come back as soon as possible.Another said I was important presense for her.It encouraged me to come here.The reason is that I was afraid to leave from my family and friends and live differnt environment.However, I realized who I am and how much my family and friends need me after they told me.At the same time, I thought I should do many thing by myself in here.Also, I thought I have to adopt to a new environment. I think I can do my best here,thanks to these words from my friends. I may feel nervous about school or my English ability during studing abroad.However, I feel like I can do if I remember what they told me. I feel like they believe me.
Futhermore, I think any words that my family give me are precious for me.I can be happy if I can just get the sentence that they are fine.Such a sentence is enough for me to cheer me up.Because I cannot see how they are.If I can know that they are fine, I can encourage myself.In this way, any words that family and friends gave me are vital for me to do anything new because these words make me feel ease.

In my country, food is quite healthier than American food. I think American food contains much more sugarand salt compared to Japanese food. Many Japanese dislike too sweet and salty food. At first, I was so surprised, because rice is differnt between Japan and America. In my country, poeple eta rice almost every day. On the other hand, rice that we can eat here is hard. Also, it is fried when I eat it in the cafeteria. The taste is different. When it comes to desert, we have traditional desert. We call it manzyu. We often use boiled and sweet beans and rice cake. Althiugh it comtains sugar, they are healthier than cakes. Moreover, Japanese food is not spicy. When we eat sushi, we use washabi with it. Some Japanese don't like it, because it sometimes makes us cry.This spice is totally differrnt from other species.In this way,I think we have differnce between Japan and America. But I think both of them have good points. But I like Japanese and America. BUt I think both of them have good .BUt I think they are healthier and contained a lot of vegitable.

like traveling during vacation. When I was in Japan, I went to different regions to go sightseeing or look for rare food. What I like the most is going to a hot spring. The reason is that I can make myself relax in there. Moreover, there are some kinds of spa and sauna in there. It makes me excited. At the same time it makes me warm and comfortable. In addition to this, I like going around the street and taking pictures of buildings and rare food. I also like going to amusement parks like Disney land in Tokyo because it looks like the world of dreams. It makes me happy and addictive a little bit. In this way, we can enjoy ourselves and have great experience through trips.

Time is important.

In my country, We like both of them.Some people like spendind alone.Others don't like doing it.If you say you like it, people don't think you are strange.My friends often say that she doesn't like being alone. So, she makes schedule as much as possible like job or shopping.On the other hand,in my case, I like spending much time with friends.Because I can make me cheerful when I'm chatting with my friends.But I sometimes need time that I can spend alone.For example, when I exhaust because of job or assignment, I want to stay at home and relax there.Moreover,when I don't have much time to go shopping with friends, I go there alone.Although I'm sometimes confused when I go there.Because I don't know which clothes i have to buy.But I like going shopping alone.The reason is that I can spend more time by myself without caring about anything except for time.Also, I like wathing DVD alone. The American election is different from a Japanese one in some ways. First, in America, citizens can choose the president. But in my country, we can't do it. The gorvernment appoints the candidate from their parties. Second, there are many negative campaigns to beat the cmpetition. We can see the speech on TV almost every day in America. On the other hand, in Japan we can't see the negative campaign. Moreover, after Obama won, many people in Carbondale were crazy at night. Compared to America, we don't care about the election so much. Especially, some of young people don't know who the prime minister is now. So, I was so surprised at the difference between America and Japan. Since I don't have opportunities to hear the speech of the president, I could learn what the policy is. I thought I want to learn more and more after the election.

My Small and Big Dream

I have a dream in the future. First one is working at the clothing company associated with foreign company. The reason that I wanted to work there came from the movie, " The devil wore PLADA". After watching this movie, I got big dream. And another reason is that I want to use English with my job. I think I will be able to enjoy my job. Because I like clothing and English. I also like communicate with people. But I think it is difficult to come true my dream. Because I don't have ability to use English fluently right now. And, I don't know how long I can work there. Because the company need young person and people have high ability. In this way, I feel fear about my dream. But I think I can't come true my dream if I give up trying to come true it. So, I must not frighten about it.
Moreover, I have small dreams now. I want to travel many places of America. Because, I can just do it during studying abroad. If I want to travel from Japan to America, it is so far and too expensive.Even if I travel anywhere, I have to feel fear about money. But now I can travel around America cheaper than I travel from Japan. So, I can come true this small dream in here.

Fluency Exercise#4

In my country, we don't have a holiday of Halloween. Always everything is surprising for me. For example, I can see many places where people decorate their house or supermarket. Also, everyone walks around the street or campus with costume, without caring about how others are looking at them. Moreover, I did not know that the riot occurred in Carbondale and almost all bars are closed on Halloween. I was surprised by that too.In my university, there are so many exchange students. Every year, they wear costume on Halloween. When I saw them at first, A was very surprised, but i thought I envied them. The reason is that it looks exciting for me, because i can put it on just this holiday and I can go the party or some event. So, I'm happy to be here and spend a good event with friends or foreign students.

Traditional Holiday

I envy American because they can spend good holiday on Halloween.Unfortunately, in our culture, we don't have Halloween holiday.In this time of year, November 3, we have a holiday. We call it "Bunka no hi". The meaning of the day is to love our nation and peace. We can take a break on this holiday. But we don't celebrate or go out with costume unlike Halloween.Moreover,we have similar holiday to Halloween. We call it "obon". This is a holiday that concern and respect the ancester. Many people go back their hometown in the middle of August. During this time, we go to the graves and give them flower. Also, we pray for Buddhist alter and put some food on it. Compared to Halloween, this holiday is also completely differnt.
This holiday is not for celebration like Halloween.Many years ago, people go back their hometown to meet relative and pray for ancesters. However, many people travel somewhere through this holiday.So, I think it is not more important for people than before.But I think this holiday is traditional.The more the society or world change, the more traditional ways are changing.I think we shoud take over traditional ways of the holiday because our ancester kept doing thet ways.

The Important Presence For Nebraska

According to the article, “Otter Could Call Neb.’s Republican River Home”, otters that lived in Nebraska once disappeared by the early 1990s because of unlimited trapping. However, thanks to people who want to restore animals to the historical ranges, otter reintroduction has had great effort in other states. Moreover, in several areas, many otters released in 1980s through the early 1990s and now they can be seen all across the state. Otters brought success to Nebraska. They gave visitors unique impressions, for example by chasing each other, diving for clamshells, and sliding down wet bank.

It is apparent that reintroduction of otters had the big effect of making people pay attention to the fact that otters are n danger of extinction in some ways. First, they learned the fact that was trapped for their fur. Second, at seven sites people noticed that they are important. Third, people have gotten interest in otters.

First of all, it’s effective that people realized the reason why otters disappeared. If anything, there are some people who don’t know the fact or have interest in endangered species than people who care about them. Although it is no wonder that we think we are trying to protect these species, it was admirable that a few people tried to do something to restore them

Second, now it is right that they finally realized the fact and released them. But it was too late, because they released them after they were designated as an endangered species. They should research the condition of them more if they thought otters were an important presence for them. If they had realized this earlier, more otters could have lived in the many areas.

Third, it was totally successful because their presence was showed them to be as important animals to visitors, and the feeling of people that don’t want to lose these precious presence became higher and higher. Moreover, it is effective for the government of Nebraska in that number of otters increased after they were released

In conclusion, the action of rescuing otters was effective in Nebraska. Moreover, it told many people several important things, for example, otters were an endangered species and the best way is to release them. Unlike the other article, this one described he effect that some people make for species and the success that they achieve. Thanks to the action of several people who tried to solve this problem, this made us realize that we have to do our best to save it, as they took first step for them.

Fluency Exercise#3

It is difficult for us to learn a new language. The reason is that grammar structure and pronunciation are totally different between our own language and others. However, I can advise to people how to learn an other language. It is that we should have interest in the other country and culture. Actually, we can’t master other languages quickly, and we may think we want to give up. But if we like their culture or country, we want to master as much as we can. Moreover, we need to know more vocabulary. I think it is important for us to buy vocabulary books and learn them, but it is hard to remember all of them because we don’t use difficult words in our daily lives. If we want to master other languages, it is better for us to communicate with people who are from the country that we want to learn about directly. If we do so, we can learn many words and phrases, and improve listening skills.

The Effect That Valdez Had

According to the article, " Years later Valdez's stain remains, eighteen years later that oil tanker Exxon Valdez ran aground on Alaska's Bligh Reef, it caused environmental damage to many species such as sea otter, sea birds, fish and other animals. Some species have recovered, while others have not recovered completely. Earlier this year (2007), ExxonMobil decided to reduce greenhouse gases and invest more in renewable sources. On the other hand, the company rejected the idea of joining BP, ConocoPhillips and Shell as part of the US Climate ActionPartnership, which is environmental group to limit greenhouse gases. In1987, they were banished from Prince William Sound.

I think the policy of this company that try to make it solve this problem by just money is not proper. Actually, money is one of the good way to clean the sea. However, even if they spend large amounts of money to clean the sea and try to reduce greenhouse gases, they can't recover the conditions that they had. What is worse, the effect that they made us spreading wider and wider.

From the time, I read this article, this bad happening occurred eighteen years earlier. However, people haven't changed their mind and they still think that they don't pollute oceans or make sea animals and fish suffer. Most people just think of their own profit even if they pollute the environment. We should care about and find what we can do to rescue them like gathering garbage.

It is apparent that nobody can expect when the ship accidents will occur or how they will affect sea animals. We can't blame anymore much if it occurs from natural disaster. However, these ships work for us to import products and help to live because many countries don't make products in their own countries. It makes us have greater possibilities for accidents to occur and kill sea animals.

Although this company stated that they spent large amounts money on the environmental cleanup, I think it's suspicious. If they spend money to make up for the event, they have to find specific solution of ways to clean the oceans and rescue their lives, Moreover, they can invest money for making products in their own countries to avoid use ships and import products as mush as possible.

In conclusion, the ship accidents like this even affect sea animals badly. Once the oceans are stained by oil, they can never recover what they were. Not to stain more than they do now, we have to think about what happens in the oceans and decrease the use of ships and spend money to clean and protect their lives.

The best way to meet with partner for me

I think establishing relationship is so necessary for me.However, it is noith t simple. Even if we infatuate to someone, it sometimes does't work. In my country, there are several ways to meet with boyfriend. First, we can meet with them in the school. Second, we can meet with them at the bar or party. Third, we can meet wuth them through friends.But I think the best place to meet people is school. The reason is that we can know each other and have more chance to meet and talk with them easily than other ways. Moreover, I can trust them more. For example, if I am attracted to my classmate, I can know his personality or behaivor directly. On the other hand, if I meet guys at the bar or party, I don't know about them exactly, even if they tell a lie to me Because they drink alcohole a lot.Besides it, meeting with new boy friend thorough friends is not good way for me. The reason is taht I think I have never worked well. It is sometimes trablesome because we have to contact them by email or phone frequently. Although it is better to contact them by email, contacting them by cell phone is sometimes expensive. It's hard for me.Anyway, It is important for me how i can believe my partoner.I think it's the best way to lead to establish and get along well wach other.So, I choose this way to look for nice partner.

Fluency exercise#2

There are many ways to communicate and tools now. I often use cell phone and e-mail and chat with Skype to contact my parents and friends. It’s a little difficult for me to contact to them because we have time difference. The best way to contact them is e-mail for me. The reason is that we can send e-mail anytime we want. Actually, e-mail has some trouble. One problem is the possibility that we won’t check our e-mail each other when both of us are so busy. If we want to tell something and get a response quickly, we may not be able to do that. However, compared to other communication tools, e-mail is convenient for me because it is cheaper. Especially, if we use an account with hotmail or gmail, we can use them for nothing. In addition to this, when we don’t have much time to talk with them by phone and chat, e-mail is the best way to communicate with them for me.

Big Problems to Animals

According to the author, Tim Hirsh(2005), in “Animals ‘hit by global warning’” the report in the UK showed that many animals are in danger of extinction because of climate change. Warming has influence on the migration of some kinds of birds and animals. Some species became accustomed to new environment, but others like polar bears and seals can’t do it because the Arctic sea ice is rapidly melting. There are other threats besides climate change. First, the nests of sea turtles and seals are decreasing because sea level is rising. Second, thanks to warmer sea, eggs with female turtles than those with males. Third, since there is a lack of water in many areas, waterfowl’s habitats have been destroyed their habitats. Fourth, the extent of the Sahara desert makes it impossible for swallows impossible to fuel up. In these ways, the environment surrounding animals is changing rapidly. The change is so rapid that animals can’t keep up with it to get options and to survive.

It is a fact that animals are in danger of extinction nowadays. This problem is not only related to animals but also to humans. It will influence humans later if we don’t do anything to protect nature and animals.

I think the cause of these problems comes from humans. Humans waste a lot of earth’s resources to make their living. For example they get money for cutting trees. Because of this, the habitats of some species are destroyed and they can’t live comfortably. I think every year the environment is getting worse. I can see how much worse it is and how many species have been damaged in this article.

Recently, many people care about the state of the environment more than before. It is a fact that we can’t stop development of destruction completely, once it has become worse. However, we have some ways to rescue nature and animals. First, we can recycle products that we can, like paper or plastic bottles, more and more. Second, when we go to the supermarket, we can use our own bag for packing what we got there. Third, we can depend on solar energy more and more without using gasoline or oil. If we can do these, the air or the oceans will not get much worse than they are now.

In this article, I could learn that many animals are in danger of extinction and we have big problems. We should think of the fact as the symptoms of what they will happen to us in the same way. Actually, we can live thanks to natural resources of the earth like water, some animals or fish. If they decrease or disappear, we can’t live without them. Since they are essential for our lives, we must think of this and find other effective solutions as soon as possible before it is too late.

In conclusion, some species are in danger of extinction because humans didn’t think of how the effect is a big deal for animals or other resources. However, we have some solutions such as recycling to reduce amount of garbage or depending on solar power to alleviate this problem, since it is impossible for us to recover it perfectly. The more people realize we can live thanks to the resources of earth, the more people may try to do their best to protect them. If we do as much as possible, I think it will not get worse more rapidly than now, but we have to keep paying attention to this problem.

Chicago trip

I went to Chicago for trip.The moment I just got off the train, I was so surprised. Unlike Carbondale, there are so many buildings there.I reminded me of my country. First, I went to the art musium. It was so nice. Since I have never been to the musium in my life, I moved them because pictures were so beautiful.Next day, I went to downtown to go to shopping and eat Chicago pizza.Chicago pizza was totally defferent from what I ever eaten. It was so thick.It looks like pie.It made me happy. But I ate too much and after I ate them, I thought I did't eat and see anymore. After that I went to go shopping. It was cheeper than Japanese one. I was excited so much. The third day, I went to the supermarket. There were a lot of Japanese products.I got Japanese snacks and ate Japanese food. I was so happy again. I was supposed to go to the sears tower. Unfortunately, It closed when I arrived. But I satisfied with the views of Chicago. Through this trip, I could see where I am and here is fantastic place.I want to know other wonderful places during my CESL life.

Traveling

I like traveling by train the most. I have some reasons to like it. First, I can see wonderful views through the train, such as views of rivers, mountains and lakes. Second, I can stretch my legs. Also, I can feel relaxed and sleep comfortably, because the trains don't move hard. Third, I can go around anytime I want. For example, when I want to go to the restroom, I can go there anytime, unlike in planes and cars. In one way, I don't have to care about it. Finally, I can get tickets that are cheaper than plane tickets. Although traveling by train takes more time than planes, it has a lot of pleasure for me.

Different school life

After finishing 1 term here, I have had good experiences that I have never experienced at my college. First, they are different in that we study other subjects like economics and politics and so on in Japanese. However, we have studied English mainly. Moreover, in my college, we have classes different time like we started the class from noon or early morning. On the other hand, we had classes same time every day here. I think it is better for me if I have classes same time every day. The reason is that we keep our health. For example, if my class starts at noon only on Thursday, I stay awake at midnight and get up too late. After that I often have headache. I think it's not good for my health. Now, thank to starting class same time, I feel better than before. Second, in my college, we have class for 90 minutes per class. I think it's makes me tired compared to CESL. Unlike my college, I can concentrate on the class more.
When it comes to the number of class,they are different from what kind of subjects we take. In regular class like CESL, there are over 20 students in the class. On the other hand, in other subjects like politics and economics and so on, there are over 50 students in the classroom. If there are many students in the room, some of them are loud. So, I like the small class because we can be friendly more.
In this way, we have some differnces from here. I'm happy to be able to experience here.

Tea is wonderful!

I like tea better than coffee. The reason is that coffee is bitter if a sugar isn’t contained. But I can drink it if it’s a little bit sweet. Also, I have reasons that I like tea more. Almost all tea are healthy. If I drink it, it makes me reflesh. Also, when I eat cake, bread, tea is suitable for it.
In my country, people drink both tea and coffee. Especially, businessmen drink coffee more than tea during the job. However, there are several kinds of tea in Japan. For example, mattya, houzitya, oolong tea, green tea and so on. Of them, I like the oolong tea the best because the taste is good. Also, I heard before that it’s healthy for my body and it’s better after I eat greasy food like Chinese food. I have tried mattya several times, when I was a high school student. At first, I didn’t like it so much but I gradually liked it. Mattya tastes good with Japanese sweets like mannzyuu or sweet rice cake.

I love movie.

In my country, people like movie. I think women likes it more than men. American movies are popular in Japan such as Spider man or the sex and the city and so on.What kind of movies they like depends on people. I like movie too. In my case, I often watch foreign movie more than Japanese one. I don't have a reason why I don't watch Japanese movie so much. On the other hand, I have some reasons why I like foreign movies very well. First, some of them are excited for me. Also, many actress and actors are so awsome. And, It is better for me to be able to watch movie in English because I can learn English more and more.
My favorite movie is "Devil wore PLADA". After I watched this movie, I impressed so much because the actress was so cute and her success story changed my mind. After watching it, I wanted to be more fashionable and get a job like her. I recommend the movie!!!

Music makes me relax

I love listening to music. When I have time, I listen to them. Especially, I like Avril Lavine. I knew her when I was a high school. She is a popular singer in Japan. Recently, I listen to her song "girlfriend'. I like this song because this song makes me cheerful. Moreover, in Japanese music, I often listen to love songs. Almost of them are sad songs, but I often sympathize these songs. I don't have favorite singer in Japan. For me, how the song can make me relax and cheer up are more important than who sings them. So, I want to know fabulous music more.

My favorote food

I want to introduce my favorite food. I like sweets. What I like especially are cakes. When I was in Japan, I have worked at the cake shop for about one year. At that time, I could sample many kind of cakes there. After that, I love cake so much. I like Japanese sweets too. Do you know rice cake?
Rice cake is popular sweets in Japan. We can make rice cake in several ways. For example, if we want to eat a little bit salty food, we bake a rice cake and dip in soy sauce. Also, we want to eat sweet rice cake, we usually dip in sugar or soybean flour or azuki. I like both of them so much. I eat them in winter.

My imprssion about USA

It was a first time for me to land in America last summer vacation. When I arrived at the airport in Seattle, I was so surprised because it was much larger than Japanese ones. Then, there were a lot of foreign people there. Moreover, unlike Japan, the road was so wide and I could see a lot of nature and wild animals from a car in Oregon. When it comes to food, I was surprised because size of drink was larger. Before I come to America, I thought a size of a hamburger of Mcdonald was larger than Japanese one. Many people thought that. However, it was not different from Japanese one. In addition to that, I think American people was so kind. Compared to my country, If I have a problem of something, as if they don't know me, some people helped me. I impressed about these things.
